A designer’s moodboard with careful selections of flooring and countertops, wall coverings and textiles. A curated collection of texture, pattern, color and shine. Is there anything better to help you envision a room from blueprint to reality?

Perhaps only the shareable snapshot we love to 😻- the flat lay.

These gems of the social world delight us, inspire us and make us go tapping for sources. And our favorite of all the flat lays come with a #Vetrazzo.

Today we share with you our top picks for designer flat lays that incorporate unexpected material pairings that make our Vetrazzo surfaces shine in all their luminescent glory.

Tag us in your favorite Vetrazzo flat lay and we’ll repost it on social.

Above, Houston designer Laura Umansky styled this chic flat lay as inspiration for her Galveston home pool cabana. Her bold aesthetic and polished, livable interiors shine through in the photograph. And we're crazy about her material matchup of Oceanside Glass Tile and Vetrazzo’s Aqua Current, the ultimate combination for coastal cool style. Check out Laura’s other signature Vetrazzo colorways here.

This flat lay by Holly Hollingsworth Phillips of The English Room in Charlotte, North Carolina is everything. The bold, playful pattern of the wallpaper brings out the soft aqua blues of our Emerald Coast and the deep navy Benjamin Moore paint really ties this rich look together.

According to Hollingsworth, “Cannot wait for this bar to become a reality for me! The Florence Broadhurst egrets from York Wallcoverings make me so happy and that Vetrazzo countertop is just so cool featuring recycled glass shards and South Carolina oyster shells.”

We can’t get enough of this dynamic flat lay from ADR Houston and Pomogranit Stones featuring tiles from Edimax Ceramiche and Ornamenta Ceramics. That deep forest herringbone against the soft tones of Vetrazzo's Aqua Current recycled glass is so unexpected. And the bronze bar tile is like jewelry. So much eye candy in one little square.

Every time we look at this flat lay by Tracey Stephens Design of Montclair, New Jersey it’s summer again. Her design features Vetrazzo’s Cubist Clear among pattern, pops of color, sea glass and shells. We love the combo of sparkly glass against matte finish cement tile.

"The Vetrazzo countertop was the last piece of the kitchen materials puzzle. The client loves it so much," Stephens said. This coastal inspired design builds off navy and pale aqua cabinetry and includes a white hexagon backsplash by Fire Clay Tile and bold patterned floor tiles by Wayne Tile Company.

Vetrazzo fan and fellow color lover, House of Turquoise, does it again with a coastal cool flat lay. We love seeing our Floating Blue colorway paired with our sister brand Polycor’s White Cherokee marble, pebble-like mosaic tiles by TileBar and this translucent aqua subway tile by Interstyle. What a gorgeous beach-inspired palette!

Not all flat lays are room design mood boards. Some represent an entirely new product line. This one launched Vetrazzo by Laura U, part of our bio-resin designer collection of recycled glass surfaces. The resin makes for maintenance free living and a range of new applications like large format flooring and 1 cm thin countertops and furniture. Laura U calls it Livable Luxury. You might just call it gorgeous.
