For a kitchen and master bath reno at a home perched on the water’s edge in St. Petersburg, Florida, designer Brooke Eversoll looked to the sparkling views outside for inspiration.
Like a wave sweeping a beach clean and leaving bits of shell and sea glass behind, Eversoll replaced the dark and dated cabinets and countertops with cool water blues and soft sand neutrals that reflect a coastal vibe with a layout more conducive to its homeowners.

There couldn’t be a greater contrast between the city of Immokalee and its neighboring communities in Collier County, Florida. While nearly half of Immokalee families live in poverty, nearby Naples is one of the wealthiest communities in the United States. While one well-documented solution to breaking the cycle of poverty is access to high-quality educational opportunities, in Immokalee there are not enough services to meet the need.

In these uncertain times, the joy and comfort of home is more important than we realized before. This is a perfect time to think about the projects you want to tackle next. It’s also an opportunity to explore just how meaningful a place home is for all of us. We hope looking at our projects, like this one designed by Mary Ann Smiley, brings some delight to your day.
One look at Dallas designer Mary Anne Smiley’s portfolio and you’ll realize you’re dealing with someone who never puts it in neutral. Smiley, an Oklahoma native, is revered for her ability to bring her designs to life with their fearless use of pure color and her ability to leverage cutting-edge pieces in a completely livable and enviably elegant way. And even though every surface in a project benefits from Smiley’s taste, talent and experience, countertops hold a special place in this designer’s heart.

A bottle of wine shared on a romantic date for two doesn’t have to go to waste once the last drop leaves the glass.
Old architectural glass that once adorned a city skyscraper doesn’t have to lose its purpose after the structure is demolished.
